SUMMARY:London Phoenix Easter Classic 2026
DESCRIPTION:On Easter Monday\, the 6th of April 2026 London Phoenix will be putting on the 17th edition of their annual Easter Classic sportive. \nThe event will feature ALL NEW ROUTES and new start/finish location in Barnet. \nThe sportive is a well-catered event\, with road and gravel route options\, starting and finishing in north London\, at the Barnet Table Tennis Centre\, Barnet Lane\, Barnet\, EN5 2DN. \nThere is a feed station at Brickendon Village Hall serving hot drinks\, water and snacks including London Phoenix’s legendary oat bars. \nCheck out event details on the London Phoenix website or go straight to registration via British Cycling. \n£15 online (+£1 British Cycling booking fee) or £20 on the line sign on (limited places available). Registration open 8:30-9:30am with first start at 9:00am. \nRoutes\nFrom Barnet routes go to Letty Greem Watton-at-Stone\, Datchworth\, Tewin and Brickendon. \nGPX routes for all three routes will be made available on the London Phoenix website in the week before the event \n\nShort Route (Road | 59km | 776m ascent)\nLong Route (Road | 114km | 1408m ascent)\nGravel Route (70km | 755m ascent)

SUMMARY:Maurice Burton Lanzarote Training/Cycling Camp 2026
DESCRIPTION:A seven day training/cycling camp in Lanzarote\, staying at an all-inclusive hotel. \nRIDE WITH THE CHAMPION!!! 🎂 20th Anniversary event\nEach year Maurice Burton holds a warm weather cycling training camp on the sun kissed Island of Lanzarote. This is run as an all-inclusive camp at the Blue Bay Hotel in Costa Teguise. The camp caters for all abilities\, split into chaperone-led groups to allow riders to select the speed and daily distance compatible with their goals. \nIn 2026 we’ll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Maurice Burton Cycling Camp! It’s a special milestone\, and we’d love to see as many of the Team De Ver Cycling Club there as possible. Mark your calendars and start getting ready for an unforgettable week on the bike! The trip is scheduled for the week of 19-26 April 2026 (Sunday to Sunday). \nAll the rides are beautiful and interesting and we take in several interesting tourist attractions during the week. You can bring your own bike or hire excellent bikes locally\, including E-bikes. \nBookings for 2026 will open from 1 May 2025. SUMMARY:Spring Onion 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Spring Onion weaves its way south from Cobham in Surrey\, to Rudgewick and Wisborough Green\, then back north through Plaistow and Dunsfold (home of the Top Gear test track) and back to Cobham for a post-ride meal. \nEntry includes feed station at The Cricketers Arms Pub Wisborough Green plus a pasta meal and cake at the finish. \nNow in its 17th year\, the event is organised by European Cycle Events who organise travel to major events and also tailor-made trips. \nEntry is £39.95 via the European Cycle Events website. \nThe event is now sold out but there may be a small number of places on free on the day\, check their website for details. \nStart/Finish\nHQ is Cobham Village Hall. \nNearest train station is Cobham & Stoke D’Abernon which can be reached from Clapham Junction. The first trains from CJ on Sundays appear to be 7:06 arr 7:46 (change at Surbiton)\, or 7:49 arr 8:46 (change at Wimbledon). \nDoors open 7:30\, Event starts at 8:30. Numbers MUST be collected by 09:00 am \nRide closes at 16:00 \nRoute\nThe route is just over 65 miles with 4\,000 ft ascent.
