Hell of the Ashdown – 1500 places, 9 climbs, 100km distance. Organised by Westerham Cycling Club and Flamme Rouge Events, with charity partner the Chartwell Cancer Trust. Start/finish at Westerham Brewery with tasty options for food and drink at the finish line!

Registration opens 10am Wednesday 5th November – if it’s like 2025 then it’s likely all 1500 places will be sold-out in 24-48 hours. If you miss this rush, your only chance of entry will be to join the waiting list, direct transfer from another rider, or check the Hell of the Ashdown website for details.

Registration cost in 2025 was £42.50 +£3.30 Booking Fee – Sign up via the Flamme Rouge Eventrac website.

Entry to HOTA will entitle you to discounted entry to Kentish Killer which takes place the weekend after HOTA – so you can enter both and DO THE DOUBLE.

Route

The route is published on RidewithGPS and has changed slightly since 2024/25 – https://ridewithgps.com/routes/40835774 – in the middle of the route the descent of Balcombe Ln/Birchgrove Ln and climb up from Twyford Ford has been removed, shortening the route by about 5 miles.
