Our London to Whitstable Ride will take place on Sunday 3rd September. This is a pictureque ride east to a traditional seaside town, with club members from all A,B,C groups coming together and riding at a social pace. All club members and close friends are welcome!
We shall ride a country lane route to Whitstable via “Teapot Island” and Kingwood, approx 70 miles.
At Whitstable we we’ll stop for refreshments – fish and chips always taste best by the sea!
From Whitstable you have the option of catching the train back (Bromley South, Victoria or Stratford, St Pancras) or riding back a different route via Hollingbourne and Snodland, taking the total up to 137 miles with over 6000ft of climbing.
Meet outside the shop at 7:30am. Please check on this page and the team WhatsApp chat nearer the time for final details or last minute changes to the route.
Cost: There is no cost to enter, just be prepared to pay for lunch and train home.
This event is open to Team De Ver members and friends of members only. Friends must join the club as a “Guest member” and must ride with you.
