Our London to Whitstable Ride has been RESCHEDULED and will take place on Sunday 28th July (train services will be disrupted on the original date of 21st).
This is a picturesque ride east to a traditional seaside town. We shall ride a country lane route to Whitstable via “Teapot Island” and Kingwood, approx 70 miles.
At Whitstable we we’ll stop for refreshments – fish and chips always taste best by the sea!
From Whitstable you have the option of catching the train back (Bromley South, Victoria or Stratford, St Pancras) or riding back a different route via Hollingbourne and Snodland, taking the total up to 138 miles with over 6000ft of climbing.
Meet outside the shop. The B Group will depart from the shop at 7.30 and the A group at 8.00. Please check on this page and the team WhatsApp chat nearer the time for final details or last minute changes to the route.
Cost: There is no cost to enter, just be prepared to pay for lunch and train home.
This event is open to Team De Ver A and B Group members.
Please register via Rider HQ using the link below and select the group of your riding ability, so we know to expect you.
Route
This year’s route has some minor improvements, to remove a short climb on the way out and for a smoother journey on the way back.
