A seven day training/cycling camp in Lanzarote, staying at an all-inclusive hotel.
RIDE WITH THE CHAMPION!!! 🎂 20th Anniversary event
Each year Maurice Burton holds a warm weather cycling training camp on the sun kissed Island of Lanzarote. This is run as an all-inclusive camp at the Blue Bay Hotel in Costa Teguise. The camp caters for all abilities, split into chaperone-led groups to allow riders to select the speed and daily distance compatible with their goals.
In 2026 we’ll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Maurice Burton Cycling Camp! It’s a special milestone, and we’d love to see as many of the Team De Ver Cycling Club there as possible. Mark your calendars and start getting ready for an unforgettable week on the bike! The trip is scheduled for the week of 19-26 April 2026 (Sunday to Sunday).
All the rides are beautiful and interesting and we take in several interesting tourist attractions during the week. You can bring your own bike or hire excellent bikes locally, including E-bikes.

All rates quoted are full board (all meals included) for seven nights plus a De Ver jersey. Rates exclude bike rental during the camp, this can be arranged upon request. Flights will not be included, you will be responsible for your own travel.
- Single room is £800.
- Twin sharing is £700.
- There is limited availability for 2026.
- All bookings will be on a first come first served basis.
- To secure your place a £200 deposit will be required at the time of booking.
Please note this event is organised by Maurice Burton and De Ver Cycles, it is not organised by Team De Ver.
